Just some things to know:
It is never too soon to begin looking for your wedding invitations especially if you want a custom design. The printing time is usually 2 weeks after final approval to receive your invitations...the design time is the consuming part. Allow enough time to work with a designer to achieve the vibe and look for the invitation suite you want. Sometimes that ranges from a short time
to a couple of months in order to tweak all the pieces to your firm up the style and details. If you see something here you like but the colors don't work for you, no worries colors and graphics can be changed to suit!
Cotton Ink will take care of ALL of your wedding pieces. Couples are often surprised to know we can coordinate and print the programs, place cards, seating charts, thank you notes (and any other paper pieces needed) in addition to the invitation suite to make the day complete.
Cotton Ink does custom work. There are several online vendors that have nice options. Some of our clients have tried those and report having difficulty making any changes to fonts, colors and fitting in the necessary details. At Cotton Ink, we take away all of those pain points for you! Come in, see the actual colors (even the slight variations in color), feel the paper weight and quality and some options you may not have considered. We will create a custom wedding invitation at a great price on beautiful stock because that is our standard.
Pricing for digital (flat printing + letterpress, foil, emboss/deboss)

Everyone wants to know the monetary commitment! And, that's just fine with us. Please see the pricing link above and the investment options on the contact page. If your invitations require an upscaled piece, other than the digitally printed suite, such as letterpress or foil a quote will be provided once the design elements have been discussed (after consultation) as a pressing plate is required for these pieces. There are options for handmade paper, boxed invitations, custom venue drawings, silk ribbons, custom wax seals, etc.
Couples often ask if it is still okay to hand write addresses on the mailing envelope. Absolutely, is the answer, especially if you
or someone close has beautiful handwriting. And for those couples that don't, we provide that service, too. Want
calligraphy? We don't do that work ourselves, but we know people. Good people with great skills.
Square envelopes cost more to mail, always! They just do. We stationers did not get together and make this a rule but the Postal Service did. Having your invitation weighed is a good idea because not only does shape and size affect postage but weight does, too. So please check with the stationer and post office BEFORE purchasing stamps for you wedding invitations. Ultimately, the post office is responsible to quote postage and for the timeliness of mail.
Families...we all have them! They come in the simple and complex varieties. When it comes to wording the invitation Cotton Ink
will help you get it right. One seemingly obvious tip is to talk with the important players in your life about who will be included
on the invitation itself. This should happen before your initial wedding consultation so there are no awkward moments for anyone
attending the meeting.
Yes, we can and do serve many couples OUTSIDE the Rocky River and Cleveland area. Our clients have come from Philadelphia, Boston, Providence, Manchester, Columbia, Portland, Rochester, La Jolla, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Naples, South Carolina, and Ontario, Canada to name a few. And, their venues are all around the world. So distance is just not a thing! Cotton Ink is happy to help you wherever you nest.
Once your wedding day arrives throw caution to the wind and live in the moment! Don't worry about the events of the day or you will miss out. Just be present, feel and enjoy the entire day!
Email us with your wedding questions. We are happy to help and are a good resource for other wedding needs you may have.
